 Panamera had been manufactured by three different German factories to build a Panamera.This is a first four door high perfomance car. This car has a similar characteristics with Porsche 911 and the best selling in United States.The company has a very big scale production which is  46000 square feet of factory.It made they become one of mega factory in the worldThe engines are first assembled in Stuttgart, and the cars body is build and painted at the Volkswagen group facility in Hannover. The final assembly of the vehicle take place in Leipzig, Germany, alongside the Cayenne.

   

     In the production of the Panamera, they use advanced technologies to simplify and speed up the time in the production of the Panamera.They work in two shift in order to run the production smoothly.For engine line production they have 43 station consists of 160 parts of engine.It need a very unlimited control.They also have a stamping machine for their prodution

           

     Porsche has done everything possible to make the Panamera as light as possible but still maintain the sports car power that it is known for. Instrumental to that notion and the sports car handling of this car is due to its unique make of advanced steel, aluminum and magnesium as well as the centrally placed V8 engine that sits as low and far back under the hood as possible. To make production as efficient as possible, substantial building work was necessary at the factory premises, which cover 300 hectares. Porsche invested around EUR 150 million in a new assembly hall, a logistics centre, a pilot and analysis centre and a training facility.They will run the production part to another part only for 2 minutes and 20 seconds.

               A new logistics concept has been developed for Panamera production. An exact schedule and procedural plan which involves all suppliers makes it possible to deliver parts at high frequency and just one hour before they are processed on the production line. This means that expensive storage areas are virtually unnecessary.    Porsche announced that it has developed a complex logistic system for optimizing the production of the Panamera saloon and the Cayenne sports utility vehicle. The new concept will be used at the carmaker’s German Leipzig plant, which already features modern production lines.The new project uses complete planing procedures that incorporate all the parts suppliers. As a result of the efficiency program, the parts for the Panamera and Cayenne are to reach the production site just one hour before they enter the production line. This eliminates the need for large storage areas and thus reduces production costs.
